He is survived by: his sons, Jay Speight (Meredith) and Chris Speight (Ashley); his brothers, Tim Speight (Wendy) and Dale Speight (Sherrie); his grandchildren, William, Olivia, Ruthie and Zach Speight; his nieces and nephews, Kyle, Emily and Sammy Speight; and his brother-in-law Don Stewart.
