He is survived by: his wife Ruby Dick Efird; his children, Marla Caudle (Johnny) of Albemarle, NC and Mark Efird (Amanda) of Lewisville, NC; his grandchildren, Ashley Broshart (Thomas) of Albemarle, NC, Crista Aldridge (Nick) of Albemarle, NC, EmmaVanHorn of Lewisville, NC. and Hannah Efird; and his great grandchildren, Kanten Holmes, Kiley Holmes, Dale Aldridge and Maggie Aldridge.
Memorials may be made to St. Martin Church or Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie.
