He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Fulton Denning and Clara Nell Efird Denning; his wife Gerry; his son John; and his siblings, Wade and Nell.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Myers (Kent) of Richfield, Catherine Sams of Albemarle and David (Terri) of Mint Hill. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
