He is survived by: his wife Annette Jones of Albemarle; his sons, Danny Helms (Angie) of Texas and Brian Helms (Tammy) of Albemarle, NC; his grandchildren, Kristy Helms Lee of South Carolina, Megan Helms of Albemarle, Miranda Cox, Morgan Cox of Albemarle, Schyler Sharp of Fl, Samuel Helms of Albemarle, Cordell Helms of Texas, Tyler and Savannah of Albemarle; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Rylan, Noah, Sawyer, Daylan, Jaxsan, Daniel, Kamden, Addison, Brittley, Autumn and Davian; and his sister Phyllis Bolyard.
