He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Smith Napier and Maggie Napier; his siblings, Helen Mauldin, Ike Napier, Laura Clark and Jimmy Napier; and his grandson Philip Willis.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Napier of Albemarle; his children, Nickie Harris (Kevin) of Charlotte and John Wynne Napier (Kim) of Norwood; his stepchildren, Terry Tucker (David) and Jay Howard (Margaret); his grandchildren, Konner, Alleigh of Nathan, T. J., Will and Carson; his great grandchild Hudson; and his siblings, Peggy Thompson, Pete Napier and Susie Wilson.
