He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leonard and Isabelle Leonard; his wife Carol Ann Leonard; and his children, John William Leonard, Jr. and Karen Sunday.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Leonard, James Price, Joseph Leonard, Tammy Downing and Tara Chandler. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
