He is survived by: his wife Sue Leonard Swaringen; his children, Michael Swaringen (Kathy) and Susan Tindal (Rick); his grandchildren, Chuck Swaringen (Doshia), John Swaringen (Crystal), Ericka Hatley (Graham) and Krista Self (Logan); his great grandchildren, Grace Swaringen, William, James Hatley, LJ Self and Maddox Haywood; and his brothers, Conrad Swaringen (Helen) and Gerald Swaringen (Janet).
