She is survived by: her children, Timothy Wyatt (Cynthia) and Pamela Furr (James); her grandchildren, Wayne, Jamie, Joseph, Marty and Rebekah; her great grandchildren, Hayley, Ethan and Oren; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Matthew, Penelope, Roman and Felicity; and her brothers, Don Simmons, Mike Simmons of Kannapolis and Tony Simmons of Albemarle.
