Smith and Laura G. Whitley; and his siblings, Joyce Troublefield of Albemarle, NC, Gerald J. Smith (Betty) of Columbia, SC and Donald J. Smith (Jane) of Albemarle, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
