He is survived by: his wife Betty Sides; his children, Jan Sides, Jody Sides (LeAnne) and DeeDee Sides Whitley (Grant); his grandchildren, Alicia Sides, Justin Sides (Lillie), Kaylee Luther (Brandon), Christopher Aycock (Emily) and John Aycock; his great grandchildren, Elia Luther, Braylee Gainey, Savannah Aycock and Weston Aycock; his sisters, Marjorie Ann Horton and Nanette Sasser; and his aunts, Faye Hatley and Hazel Hagans.
