She is survived by: her children, Walter L. Smith, Jr. of Albemarle, Michael Wayne Smith of Asheboro and Allison Smith McLean of Swannanoa, NC.; her grandsons, Stephen McLean of Alexandria and Michael McLean (K. C.); her great grandchild Charlotte McLean of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; and her brother Ned E. Lowder (Diane) of Fairplay, SC.
