It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Helms Aldridge of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Brice Helms and Ruby Nance Helms; and her husband William Stephen Aldridge Jr.. She is survived by: her son William Stephen Aldridge III of Albemarle; her grandson William Stephen Aldridge IV of Albemarle; her daughter-in-law Deborah Aldridge of Albemarle; and her siblings, Becky Thompson of Lumberton, Billy Helms of Wilmington and Jerry Helms of Oak Island. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
