She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Honeycutt and Clara Honeycutt; and her husband Lane O'Brion Burris Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Lane O'Brion Burris, Jr. (Cynthia) of Milton, GA and Christopher Shane Burris (Julie) of Locust; her grandchildren, Austin Burris, Zoe Barron (Nate), Olivia Burris and Evan Rees; her siblings, Kim Honeycutt (Deborah) and Richard Honeycutt (Kathy); and her family Lord.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church (20415 Nc 24 27 Hwy, Oakboro, NC 28129).
