He is survived by: his wife Susan Marie Lang Burris; his children, James Robert Burris (Tara) of Kimberly, WV and Sheri Marie Burris Dickson (Monte) of Apex, NC; his sister Gay Nell Burris of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Robert Dakota Burris of Holden Beach and Alaina Jessica Minor of Myrtle Beach; his great grandchild William Burris of Holden Beach; and his stepgrandsons, Zachary Knight of Kimberly, WV. and Bobby Lee Knight of Kimberly, WV..
