Imogene Solomon Furr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Imogene Solomon Furr of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Stella Marie Soloman; her husband Jessie "Deed" Edworth Furr; her grandson Rodney Jason Hathcock; her great grandchild Haley Braley; and her brother Thomas Lentz Solomon.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Furr of Locust, Rodney Furr (Susie) of Richfield, Sherri Pennington of Albemarle and Kristi Almond (Keith) of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Travis Furr (Ashley), Josh Furr, Kati Furr, Landon Pennington (Cassie), Kyle Pennington, Jerrad Pennington (Chrissy), Danielle Pennington, Bradley Almond and Tyler Almond (Mandi); her great grandchildren, Addison, Deegan, Delilah, Cassian, Maya, Everett, Jesse, Edworth, Imogene, Dominic, Jay and Stella; her brother John D. Solomon (Joyce); her friend Mike Lowder; and also Helen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Albemarle Wesleyan Church (33713 Mann Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Tillery Compassionate Care (960 N 1st St, Albemarle, NC 28001).
