Idell was predeceased by: husband Jessie Wayne Austin, Sr.; siblings, Nellie Jane Hartsell, Anna Belle Whitley, Vane Huneycutt, Calvin Huneycutt and Thomas Huneycutt; and grandchild Samantha Dell Hughes.
Idell is survived by: children, Jessie Austin, Jr. (Ginger) of Albemarle, Terry Austin (Tonya) of Midland, Joyce Furr (Lee) of Oakboro and Terresa Hughes (late Eugene) of Denton. Idell is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
