He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Thompson Almond (David) of Albemarle, NC; his grandchildren, Daniel Almond (Tonya) of Albemarle, NC, Amber Hawkins (Joseph) of Albemarle, NC, Amanda Almond (Clinton) of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Cody Almond (Katie) of Albemarle, NC; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Almond, Riley Almond and Hezekiah.
