Hal Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hal Smith of Albemarle, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fred Smith and Maddie Odell Edwards Smith; and his siblings, Gloria Smith and Bill Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Smith; his sons, Jim Smith (Carole) of Burlington, NC and Mike Smith (Tina); his grandchildren, Brett Smith, Grant Smith (Holly), Caleb Smith (Jessica) and JoJo Kehl (Haven); and his great grandchildren, Nora, Pearl, Parker, Finley, Jack, Tessa, Jude, Tallulah, Lawson, Gauge, Lynnox and Spencer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle (522 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001).
