He is survived by: his wife Sue Morgan; his daughters, Cynthia Lynn Morgan of Columbia, SC and Lori Ann Thompson of Murrells Inlet, SC; his grandchildren, Catherine Smith, Kristen Thompson (Leen Remmelzwall), Megan Hall (Deonne) and Ryan Thompson; and his great grandchildren, William, Hudson and Summer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to VFW Post 2908 in honor of Gerald Morgan (119 Anderson Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001) or Samaritan's Purse.
