She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Lindsay and Letha Mae Whitley Thompson; and her siblings, Joel Thompson and Brenda Maurice. She is survived by: her son Melvin Thomas "Tom" Moore (Kolis); and her sister Juanita Hatley of Albemarle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
