He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Edmisten Funderburk; his daughter Beth Funderburk Olivieri (Geoff) of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Gavin of Albemarle and Graylin Olivieri of Albemarle; his brother James Funderburk (Sue) of Altavista, Virginia; his brother-in-law Harold Edmisten (Maxine) of Concord; and his nephews, Harold Edmisten (Craig) of Mill Spring, Derek Edmisten of Mooresville, Jeremy Funderburk (Natalie) of Evington and Nathan Funderburk (Crystal) of Evington, Virginia..
