She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Brantley Harris and Ruby Elba Gregory Harris; her siblings, Nancy Needham, Sondra McRae and Adam Harris; and her great grandchild Silas Lentz.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Davis of Albemarle; her sons, Barry Davis (Darla) of Albemarle, NC and Eric Davis (Amy) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Whitney Morton, Nicholas Davis, Mike Lentz and Marshall Hervey (Emily); her great grandchildren, Maysie, Blakely, Adelaide, Roland and Beatrice; and her siblings, Roger Harris of Wilmington, NC, Theresa Allen of Norwood, NC, Judy McRae (Nook) of Wadeville, NC, Terry Harris (Patricia) of Albemarle, NC and Joy Haywood of Wadeville, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral Home & Memorial (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
