With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Holden Lanier of Albemarle, North Carolina, born in Inman, South Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Holden and Cora Holden; her husband George W. Lanier; her son Tony Christopher "Chris" Lanier; and her siblings, James Holden, Myrt Thornburg, Jenny McGraw, Lorene Ivester, Dean Holden and Dru Smiley.
She is survived by: her children, Jim F. Lanier (Lisa), Wanda Gail Krimminger (Bob) and Eric Wayne Lanier (Sharon); her grandchildren, Beth Setzer (Robbie), Matthew Wallace (April) and Michael Lanier; her great great grandchildren, Traci (Jordan), Robert (Jennifer), George (Sarah), Leah, Katie and Drew Wallace; her siblings, Pat Craig, Rachel Albertson and Larry Holden (Gloria); and also, Eleanor, Mahayla, Jaxon and Waylon. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren.
