He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Rivers and Mildred Rivers (Tucker); his wife Linda; his children, Hilary Babu of Bettendorf, IA and Edward Rivers, III; and his sisters, Deana Napier (Michael) of Polkton, NC, Sammi Williams (Kenny) of Norwood, NC and Jacki Howell (Todd) of Norwood, NC. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed served in this position for the last ten years of his career in public health and retired in March of 2021, after a long first year of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers or cards, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the LeClaire Fire Department (CPR Training Fund), 325 Wisconsin Street, LeClaire, IA 52753.
