With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Sarah Hubbard of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Chase and Helene Chase; her husband James Ray Hubbard; and her daughters, Theresa Edwards, Deborah Boyd and Kelly Haley.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Coffin of Albemarle, Marlene McDade of Lexington and Sandra Patchin (Kenneth) of Albemarle; and her grandchildren, Michael Coffin, Jr. (Tina), Johnny Howell, Jr., Clinton Byerly, Courtney Gauthier, Cassie Coffin, Jenny Pressley, Ashley Gauthier (Michael Beaver), Brandy Cook (Andy), Madison McDade and Marcia Gaddy. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
