Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Douglas Stokes of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 77, on July 12, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Stokes and Ena Snow Stokes; and his brothers, Fred Stokes and Steven Ray Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Susan Stokes; his sons, Ross Stokes (Jennifer) and Zane Stokes; his stepson John Deere (Deanna); and his grandchildren, Garrett, Madeline, Mallory Deere, Claire, Wray, Nora and Mason Stokes.
