He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jones and Eva Jones; and his wife Babrbara Ann Jones. He is survived by: his children, Amy Jones of Albemarle, Kathy Phillips (Nelson) of New London and Kevin Jones (Ashley) of Sumter, SC.; his grandchildren, Kirk Schofield (Hailey), Nikki Williams, Joshua Phillips, Kelsey Phillips, Madison Jones and Jackson Jones; his great grandchildren, Addie, Myles and Daisy; and his sisters, Carolyn Rutherford, Janice McKee (Billy) and Peggy Miller (Terry).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
