With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Shimpock (Albemarle, North Carolina), who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Julian Lee; her husband Rev. Farrell Shimpock; and her siblings, Myrtle Gordon, Christine Barnhardt and Vance Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Shimpock (Lynn) of Oakboro, Karen S. Lowder (Steve) of Badin and Angela S. Barbee (Jeff) of Oakboro; her grandchildren, Lainie Lane (Thomas), Lea Winter, Ashley Barbee (Kevin), Judson Barbee (Jennifer), Erin Gardiner (Jeff), Charlie Lowder (Krista), Caleb Lowder, Heather Campbell (Jim) and Hannah Leonard; her great grandchildren, Abigail Isenhour, A. J. Manshack, Jodi Manshack, Jordan Manshack, Addie Barbee of Bryn Cribb, J. T, Kate Cribb, Jeffery Gardiner, Peyton Lowder, Rayne Gardiner and Jackson Lowder; and her sister Peggy Austin (Patsy Helms) of Charlotte, NC.
