She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Barker and Dorothy Gillispie Barker; her husband Mitchell Hartsell; her sister Jean Barker; her sons, Jonathan Smith (Sonya Edwards) of Albemarle and Brandon Barker (Christina) of Lexington; her stepchildren, Michelle Fuller, Glenda Mabry, John Hartsell, Zeke Hartsell and James Hartsell; her sister Debra Barker; and her pets, Peanut, Jewels and Sally. She was also cherished by two grandchildren, and six step grandchildren.
