He is survived by: his wife Marie Hinson Hatley; his children, Renee Austin (Robin) of Albemarle, NC, Kim Eudy (Dale) of New London, NC and Crystal Cheatham of Richfield, NC; his grandchildren, Garrett Austin, John Austin, Christian Rush and Kale Simpson; his brother Dwight Hatley (Alice) of Midland, NC; his nephew Rodney Hatley (Amy) of Locust, NC; his niece Shellie Torelli (Jimmy) of Locust, NC; his great-niece Audrey Torelli; his great-nephew Eli Torelli; and his pet Sammie. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
