He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynolds James Almond and Ruth Fink Almond; his wife Sue Deese Almond; and his sister Janelle Almond Lowder. He is survived by: his children, Danny Michael Almond (Rhonda) of Albemarle, NC and Ginger Love (Leamond "Bubba" Braley) of Albemarle, NC; his grandchildren, Suzann Almond, Matthew Almond (Tabitha), Brandy Strawn (Russell) and Adrian Love (Daniel Ridenhour); and his great grandchildren, Jacob Watkins, Jaden Watkins, Brady Ridenhour, Zachary Almond, Ariel Almond, Waylon Strawn and Hank Strawn.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children and Canton Baptist Church.
