He is survived by: his fiancé Robert Heil; his grandchildren, Kyle Tucker of Albemarle, Jamie Goodman, Brandi Kroener (Jeffrey), Derek Mesimer (Raya) of Albemarle, Angel Mesimer of St. Kitts and Ethan Wyatt of Albemarle; and his sisters, Julia Plott of Concord and Jean Dale of Morganton. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
