He is survived by: his wife Angela Helms; his children, Schyler Sharp (Kashida) and Daniel Helms (Luz); his grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Autumn and Davian; his siblings, Brian Helms (Tammy), Sherry and Rhonda; his nieces and nephews, Megan, Kristy, Samuel, Morgan and Miranda; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kamden, Addi, Jacob, Daylan, Rylan, Jaxsan, Sawyer, Brittley and Noah; and his mother Annette Jones.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
