It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen Parker of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Adair and Annie Bell Thompson Swaringen; her husband William Edward "Ed" Parker; and her sister Vondell Mabry. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Ann Morrison of Oakboro, Hope Sikes of Albemarle, Ricky Morrison of Oakboro and Ray Vaughn Morrison of Alabama; and her siblings, Noreta Efird of Norwood, Carolyn Tucker of Norwood, Rachel Kesler of Norwood, Richard Swaringen and Don Swaringen of Norwood. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
