He is survived by: his wife Sue Lowder Frye; his daughters, Susie Furr (Rodney) of Albemarle, N. C., Amy Berry (Jonathan) of Greensboro, N. C. and Sally Elliott (Lee) of Walnut Cove, N. C.; his grandchildren, Josh Furr of New London, N. C., Kati Furr of Richfield, N. C., Adelaide Elliott of Walnut Cove, N. C., Fisher Elliott of Walkertown, N. C., Amber Elliott of Rochester, N. Y. and Parker Berry of Greensboro, N. C; and his sister Mary Anne Brines of Concord, N. C.. He is also survived by Three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Rye Brook, N.Y., Roy Hinson Levine Cancer Center – Stanly Atrium Foundation, Hospice of Stanly County or the West Albemarle Baptist Church.
