He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Evans Morton; his son Derick Bowers; and his siblings, Richard W., Ronnie Hunsucker, Terry Frances Knight, Aubrey Bruce and Linda Jacks.
He is survived by: his father Neil Franklin Morton of Norwood; and his siblings, Franklin N. Morton of Norwood, Gary L. Morton (Ann) of New London and Jill Connor (Ted) of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
