He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Huneycutt and Rosa Burris Huneycutt; his son Rick Huneycutt; his grandson Richard Huneycutt; and his brother Kent Huneycutt.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Burgess Huneycutt; his daughter Lisa Gadsby (John) of Apex; his sister Annette Whitley of Thomasville; and his grandchildren, Jason Huneycutt (Lynnette) of Oakboro, Catherine Jones (Evan) of Fuquay Varina and Caroline Adame (Vicente) of Apex.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at the Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (20419 NC-27, Oakboro, NC 28129).
