He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Avra Sams. He is survived by: his wife Katrina; his son Joshua Calvin Sams (Amelia); his grandchildren, Cayson and Asher; and his siblings, Loretta Sams and Tim Mauldin (Anne). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
