She was predeceased by: her parents, C. B. Poplin and Wanema Burris Poplin. She is survived by: her siblings, Butch Poplin (Sylvia) of Oakboro, Sue Almond of Norwood and Neva Poplin of Charlotte; and her nieces and nephews, Monda Russell, Bo Almond, Wendi Lincoln and Misty Lambert.
