He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Lillian Smith Almond and Harvey Adam Almond; his wife Peggy; and his siblings, Paul A Almond and Kathleen Almond Eudy.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Helms (Mike) of Harrisburg, Heather Almond of Huntersville and Bobby Almond (Alice) of Waxhaw; his grandsons, Blake Almond, Davis Helms and Paxton Almond; and his great grandchild Makenna Almond.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
