He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Harwood and Bessie Harwood; and his spouse Shelby Whitley Harwood. He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Allen (Raymond) and Shawn Hartsell (Mason); and his grandchildren, Brent Allen, Andrew Allen, Ali Hartsell and Mia Hartsell.
