He was predeceased by: his father Henry Winston; and his siblings, J. T., Fred Hudson, Betty Faye Wallace, Doris Smith, Helen Davis and Emogene Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Bowles Hudson; his children, Perry Lynn Hudson (Jennifer Parsons) of Albemarle and Cynthia Biggs (Jamie); his siblings, Edgar Hudson (Jean) of Statesville and Evelyn Kearns of Mt. Gilead; and his pet Oscar.
