She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Wade Hampton Barbee and Elsie Marie Almond Barbee; her husband Richard "Dickey" Martin Hatley; her sisters, Gaynell Love, Katie Barbee and Shirley Love Hatley; and her nieces, Donna Love Hobbs and Sherry Love Bowers.
She is survived by: her brother Darrell Barbee; her niece Michele Solesbee; and her nephew-in-law Ronnie Hobbs. She is also survived by five great nieces and nephews and seven great-great-nieces and nephews.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to West Stanly Christian Ministries in Beverly's name.
