He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Ruiz and Maria Guerrero. He is survived by: his wife Ana Rosa Reynoso Gomez; and his children, Sandra Guerrero, Leidy Guerrero, Erica Carbajal, Elizabeth Carbajal, Rosalba Carbajal and Luis Ruiz. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
