She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Alexander Smith and Bessie Jones Smith of Missouri; her husband Charles Craven Burleson; and her siblings, Elizabeth Stocton, Nancy Smith, Horace Smith and Ray Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Ruby Pickler of Albemarle, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
