She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Barbee and Annie Herlocker Barbee; her children, Teresa Lambert and Chris Mathew Lambert; and her siblings, Allene Sides, Estelle Dayon, Pauline Mills, J. D. "Buck" Barbee, Grace Hatley, Jessie Lowder and Edna Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband Edd Lambert; her children, Michael Lambert (Sandee) of Richfield and Joanna Medlin of Salisbury; her brother Jimmy Barbee (Pearl) of Albemarle; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Edwards, Heather Kinney, Brandon Barbee, Jessica Coley, Jeffrey Medlin, Camden Lambert, Karlen Lambert and Matthew Lambert. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
