She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ernest Harkey and Minnie Elizabeth Harkey; and her brother Bobby Harkey. She is survived by: her husband Lee Smith Preslar; and her children, Cindy Barbee (Corwin) of Albemarle, NC, Chuck Lee Preslar (Amy) of Albemarle, NC and Chris Preslar (Laura) of Salisbury, NC. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle (522 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Salem United Methodist Church (20987 NC-73, Albemarle, NC 28001). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery (20987 NC-73, Albemarle, NC 28001).
