He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene Bower and Teresa Sawyer Bower; and his brothers, Eugene, Gerald, Donald and Bobby Bower.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Anderson Bower; his children, Steven Bower (Karen Chapple) and Cherie Bower; his grandchildren, Neil Bower (Megan), Brook Bower and Avril Bower (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Sophie Bower and Sawyer Bower. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
