He is survived by: his children, Lisa Mock (Michael) and Bill Porter (Pam); his grandchildren, Mandy Coffin (Bo), Michael Solomon (Krista Maddox), Henry Solomon (Nikki), Bruce Solomon, Brandon Solomon (Morgan Lacks), Mikaela Mock, Samantha Mock, Stephanie Corretier, Madison Porter (Cameron Wicker) and Keith Poole (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Tristian Coffin, Mikey Solomon, Hayleigh Solomon, River Solomon, Haley Harrell, Ayden Solomon, Logan Solomon, Emely, Ellah, Everly Solomon, Georgia Solomon, Esme Clymer, Waylon Wicker and Braedon Poole; and his niece Julie Porter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cone Health Cancer Center at Alamance Regional, or Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center of Alamance County.
