It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Lopizzo Conway (Alamance, North Carolina), who passed away on March 23, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe E. Conway; and her former husband Dominick Lopizzo. She is survived by: her daughters, Rosa L. Smith (Roger) and JoAnn Zavodnick of New Jersey; her grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Leah) of Indiana, Dale Smith (Shelley) of Raleigh, Scott Zavodnick (Amanda) of New Jersey, Joseph Zavodnick (Diana) of New Jersey, Lauren Zavodnick of New Jersey, Shannon Smith of Raleigh and Zane Smith (Michele) of New York; and her great grandchildren, Devon, Madelaine, Tabitha, Morgan, Campbell, Cooper, Sophia and Luca. She is also survived by mom, grandmother and friend.
